Get ready for an all-new show: Ford High. It’s the most popular school in Canada. Because the class sizes are way too big.
It’s also the hottest. Because there’s no AC.
If you want to stream this in real life, just visit schools across Ontario. Our elementary and secondary public schools have lost so much funding, it feels like something out of a TV show.

Classes are so big that there aren’t enough chairs for every student. Teachers have to divide their attention, leading to less one-on-one time.
Books are out-of-date, sports equipment is falling apart, and art supplies are a luxury. Extreme weather events are causing floods and ceilings to cave in on students.
Teachers are suffering day-to-day on the job. Burnout is rampant. Many new teachers and education workers quit within the first five years.
The dramatic finale? When we erode publicly funded schools, we leave children behind. Children lose critical skills and the freedom to learn and get ahead. Our communities suffer—these students are our future.
That’s why the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation is stepping up right now. We represent over 60,000 members in all levels of education.
So here’s what we can do. It’s time to take Ford High off the air. Add your name to make sure Ford High is no longer reality for our children.
